During our recent stay in Whitby, we had the pleasure of exploring the diverse attractions this charming town has to offer, including the Captain Cook Memorial Museum and the Victorian Jet Works. the imposing remains of Whitby Abbey, perched high on a cliff, provided stunning views of the seaside below. Our hosts, Christine and Howard, went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable, offering tips on where to go and even providing a thoughtful Happy Anniversary card. The hotel, located in a quiet area away from the town center, boasted lovely traditional decor with modern amenities. the stunning scenery along the railway between Whitby and Pickering was a highlight of our trip. the welcoming hosts made us feel right at home, offering helpful advice on dining options and local attractions. Overall, our stay was comfortable and enjoyable, thanks to the warm hospitality of our hosts.
